Believe it or not I am alive! The M4 guide promised seems to have disappeared due to the author no longer talking to me for whatever reason. I will endeavour to get some stuff done now as I have been offline for about a month. Stand by for some more frequent updates.

Also Viber8 aint dead, no he has been very busy organizing lots of guides for your delight and is looking like releasing an M4 guide soon, so stay tuned for that! Till then Cya!

Wow, long time no see, sorry guys. As you can see Viber8 is now part of the action barracks team, thanks viber8! I have completed the Hit the streets section, it aint fully finished but it's up. I have tried to gather tips and tactics from the more experienced AQ2 players by posting numerous messages on the official AQ2 msg board and my local AQ2 one but all i got was joking and stupidity, like "bind k kill" stupid pointless stuff like that and im not happy about it. So unless some serious people have some tips and tactics they wish to share with me then please email me but until then there will be no tips and tactics section due to the fact that the good players are just a bunch of clowns. It's a shame but what can you do eh? The reason about the lack of updates is that i have been very busy maintaining 3-4 pages and also co-running a AQ2 clan, plus there is school and various other activities but i asure you this page aint goin no-where!

Howdy Folks, My name Is Viber8 and I will be helping out around here from now on. I am currently working on a new guide for the Hand Cannon and there are multiple other guides coming in the VERY near future. I am also hard at work on ALL the other sections within the Barracks and we hope to have them up as soon as possible.

Arrrgggg! sorry about the lack of updates but im just going through a "busy" stage :). There is still a spot up for grabs to help work on the site any applications should be sent to foig@telefragged.com. I'm also trying to collect a massive amount of guides, configs, and LOADS of tips and tactics to put up on the site so please send in any thing of use that you have!!!!! Also there has been a new CGF bot launcher released grab it here. Remember if you need any help dont forget the barracks forum as you will be sure to get an answer quickly!
I'm really in need of help to keep this page ging so if you have any talent in web pages/actionquake2/graphics or just wanna help out PLEASE do so!!!

My life is really bloody busy at the moment so im really finding it hard to find the time to make this page right now, but at any spare moment i have im working on it but it is becoming a bit of a strain! Don't think im goin to close this site down i just need a little help thats all. Maybe someone with some graphic design skills, or something cause im getting loads of school work. Well sooooper good news today! My wrist is not fractured just badly bruised bone and tissue!! YAY! So expect those sections fairly soon :) Also Kramed has put up The barracks forum so if you are in need of some desperate help please go there and tell the world whats wrong!
Oddjob has updated the AHL site with some scrumptious screenshots showing off the AHL SAS model and broken glass effects :) Sweet!!

Ok im really sorry but on Saturday I managed to hurt my wrist (maybe fractured) skating so i will be unable to finish the hit the streets section and any others for awhile but i will keeps updating the news.
The Official CGF site has done a huge update on almost everything! Do go and check it out. Also a new site called Action Nation has popped up. This is an Action orrientated site for the U.K and Europe, looks pretty nice. ok later

Thats right the barracks has finally moved! WOOOHOOOOOOO thanx heaps to kramed and the fellas at Action World for hosting me, was very very nice of them. Well this page looks to be completed by the end of the weekend but right now im going to have some dinner so i'll update again tonight with some AQ2 news.

Ok here's the bigger update :) I have played AHL and I have mixed feelings about it. I think maybe they should have waited for Quake3 and then done AQ3 as that would have provided better multiplayer all round. But! please people remeber it's a beta (more an alpha according to Mr_grim so please dont cast a too harshful judgement just realize that it is in it's very early stages. Just think that AQ2 is no where near gone. Infact I think that AQ2 is still a far better game but only beacause AHL is no-where near final release. When it is finally finished then i will decide. Also i have decide to work on the AHL sections of the page but im not posting them until the final version is out because whats the point of doing all the tips and blah blah blah when the guns arn't even balanced yet? Well email, or ICQ me on what you think. All sections i hope will be complete by the end of the week leaving me time to work on teh AHL sections.
Anyway in AQ2 and AHL new the official AHL site has been updated with some mirrors and a little news. Also at Action out West (a top Australian site) there is a very interesting messageboard thread about aq2 and what they (some very good aussie players) would like to see done with the mod, check it out here!. Also i will be posting a M4 guide pretty soon so stay tuned for that :) Ok till next time!

Ok I have finished the items section of Shooting range but unless you are using Internet Explorer it won't show up, i haven't got a clue why it wont but thats life eh!? Also the talk the talk section is complete, so go check that out. I was wrong about AHL not being released on time it was but to get it you have to go to Planet Half Life and grab it there. CGFbot central (a very good CGF site) has changed web hosts it's site is now at http://cgfbotcentral.quakecity.net/ so update your bookmarks and get CGF as it rocks big bells.

I have added Rev. Sparticus's sniper guide and im currently constructing all the other sections that are not complete. And yes this will be dedicated to all the new AHL'ers out there which was sopposed to come out today but after checking their site i couldnt find any news on the matter, so i can only presume that it has been delayed. I'm sure though that it will be awsome nontheless. I will probably use this page for the AHL section but im not sure yet. And I'm not sure when or where I'll be moving too so please bare with me and with xoom(sux) :)

Well i will hopfully be moving servers soon so everything will be working. I have added COZMO=[UNA]='s guide to the list (more coming). Also the beta test of Action Half Life is coming out tomorrow if all goes to plan so get ready for that :). Also the Actors Guild will be operating as the main place for AHL skins, I'm not sure whether the Map depot will be doing the same though. Ok the new page is finally up after ages, and guess what? It isn't nearly finished yet so please press control+d and keep checking up on it as i still have tons of work to do. I will be posting AQ2 and AHL (action half life) news here aswell so it's kind of a news site but the main aim is to get all the beginners out there of to a good start. So enjoy the new site as it will be constantly changing.
